About The Freedom Project

A U.S.-based enterprise advisory and platform firm. Vendor-neutral by design. Engineered to make modernization decisions defensible — to your auditors, your contracting officers, your boards, and the people your systems are built to serve.

Two Practices, One Standard

The Freedom Project operates two practices intentionally — so the right work reaches the right audience without compromising the engineering standard we apply to either.

Primary Practice

Enterprise Modernization & Advisory

Vendor-neutral IT modernization, enterprise systems architecture, AI governance, security and compliance posture, and fractional technical leadership for federal agencies, state and local government, healthcare systems, defense and intelligence, financial services, and large commercial enterprises.

SMB Practice

Operational Automation for SMBs

The same engineering discipline applied at small and mid-sized scale. AI intake, scheduling, dispatch, CRM, estimates, and conversion-focused websites — engineered as systems, not stitched-together tools.

Why We Exist

The largest technology failures across federal, state and local government, healthcare, defense, and financial services share one structural characteristic: the full system was not understood at the time the decision was made.

These weren't failures of funding. They weren't failures of talent. They were failures of decision visibility — decisions made early, often under pressure, with incomplete system data and vendor-shaped inputs. Understanding arrived after the contract was signed. Cost was absorbed over years.

The Freedom Project was created to close that gap. We are the independent layer that operates upstream of the workflow platforms, AI control towers, and execution runtimes that govern modernization after a platform has already been chosen. We work in the window where the money is actually being committed.

Our recommendations trace back to your constraints — not a partner program. Our AI-assisted outputs are cryptographically sealed and independently verifiable. And the same engineering discipline we apply to a federal program also gets applied to a five-person operation when an SMB engages us.

Operating Principles

Vendor-Neutral by Design

No reseller relationships, no platform incentives, no downstream implementation lock-in. Our recommendations trace to your constraints — not a partner program.

Audit-Defensible Outputs

Every recommendation, AI-assisted or otherwise, comes with documented rationale. Decision Provenance produces a cryptographic audit trail on AI-assisted work (Patent Pending — U.S. Provisional App. No. 64/021,096).

Principal-Led Delivery

Senior oversight on every engagement. Specialists are coordinated or embedded under principal-led architectural oversight when scope requires.

Designed to Hold Up

Systems are engineered for maintainability, auditability, and real-world load — not demo-ready slideware. The standard is what survives audit, examination, and time.

Right-Sized Scope

The same engineering discipline applied at federal scale gets applied to an SMB engagement. Scope is right-sized; standard is not negotiable.

Independent Voice in the Room

Boards, contracting officers, and risk committees increasingly need an independent technical voice. We are the second opinion that doesn’t earn margin on the answer.

U.S. Department of Defense — Technical Director / Systems Engineer (11+ years). Led security compliance for 20+ critical National Security systems. Oversaw SDLC, audits, FedRAMP / NIST / FISMA alignment, and zero-trust implementations. Managed enterprise-scale environments with 1,000+ endpoints across firewalls, classified networks, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

Amazon Web Services — Enterprise Account Engineer. Oversaw third-party software evaluations across ICMP, GovCloud, and AWS Public Marketplace. Advised on SaaS delivery, CloudFormation templates, container deployments, and commercial Marketplace integrations. Built automated multi-region configuration workflows.

The Freedom Project — Founder (2021–present). Vendor-neutral advisory and platform firm. Designed the AIM platform (Architectural Insight for Modernization), Decision Provenance (Patent Pending — U.S. Provisional App. No. 64/021,096), BIDS (federal/state opportunity discovery), and ARC (modern website deployment). Active engagements across federal, state and local, healthcare, financial services, and SMB.

Why It's Called The Freedom Project

Freedom From Vendor Capture

Most modernization guidance comes from organizations with platform relationships, reseller incentives, or downstream implementation revenue. Ours doesn't. Our recommendations trace to your constraints — not a partner program.

Freedom To Decide With Evidence

Boards, contracting officers, regulators, and CFOs increasingly require defensible answers to one question: how was this decided? Decision Provenance and audit-ready artifacts give that answer before it is asked.

Freedom from vendor capture.

Freedom to decide with evidence.

Freedom to modernize on your own terms.
